Hello,
There seems to be no MCAN config option under COMMUNICATIONS in TI SysConfig tool 1.19 and 1.20.
Any suggestions how to fix this ?
Thanks,

As a workaround I tried to change the target of the mcu to 3507, configure CAN bus and save the sysconfig file. I then tried to copy CAN related settings into 3501's sysconfig file and generate the code. It seems to be able to do that, but when I am debugging it it always gets stuck looping in the following line:
while (DL_MCAN_OPERATION_MODE_NORMAL != DL_MCAN_getOpMode(MCAN0_INST));
I imagine it is not able to set the can mode to normal and as the result it cannot get it back, but what could cause this ?
Hi, Mykola
Let's talk about this issue in this threads.
Another threads, I will mark it as resolved.

I have already contact to software team.
Any update, I will contact you.
Thank you for your feedback.
Currently, you can use G3507 as the chip selection for sysconfig.
This will not have any influence to your project, as long as you do not use peripherals that the G3107 does not have.
Thank you.

Hi,
For the question:
And one more question, if it is a SysConfig bug, do you know how quickly it can be patched ? It is quite hard to make any configuration changes for CAN on 3107 right now...
I have report to software team yesterday's night, and they have already assign a member to deal with this.
You can use G3507 now, This has no difference on your function.
Once this software bug is fixed, you can switch back to G3107 using sysconfig.
