MSPM0G1506: About Total Unadjusted Error

Part Number: MSPM0G1506

Hello.
I have two questions regarding the Total Unadjusted Error (TUE) of the MSPM0G1506.

1. Calculations were made based on the data sheet. Is the TUE correct at ±6.87LSB when using an external reference?

2. I would like to use the internal reference (1.4V), but how can I calculate the TUE in that case?

  • Hi, ?? ??

    1. Calculations were made based on the data sheet. Is the TUE correct at ±6.87LSB when using an external reference?

    Yes, this is correct.

But you still need to know that in extremely rare cases, all errors will reach their maximum.

Normally, TUE should far less than this result: ±6.87LSB

So, in general use case, you need to test TUE under specific working conditions and that result is worthy as reference.

    2. I would like to use the internal reference (1.4V), but how can I calculate the TUE in that case?

Directly test some condition in your target application.

Same aspect as answer 1, simply add them together is OK, but it almost never happens in real situations.
