Hi,
Is it possible to programmatically force a lock-step error to the CCM-R4/R5-->ESM on a core register level?
If so, are there any examples out there (maybe via Halcogen or some library)?

Hi,
No, that is not possible if you are trying to force errors on the core registers like R1, R2 and etc. You can use CCMR4 built in self test to force compare errors that goes to ESM.
