AM2634: SIL3 test application for AM2634x and TMS320F2800x

We are doing a project for one of our customer using AM2634x and TMS320F2800x. We understand that these boards are SIL 3 certified. As part of development, customer wants us to develop a SIL3 test application.

May I know whether any test applications readily available OR any library support is available for us to use and develop an application?

    Hi Suresh,

    AM2634 device is Functional Safety-Compliant .You can find the IEC61508 Certificate here: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sffs674. You can request access to our My Secure Software folder for Functional Safety Information including Safety Manual and FMEDA.

    We are also planning to develop MCAL and SDL (Safety diagnostic lib) Compliance Support Package which will provide the necessary documentation, reports and unit test capability to assist users using MCAL and SDL to comply with functional safety standard. I am not sure when the package will be available.
