AM2434: Flash memory requirements for all protocol stacks

Part Number: AM2434

Hello Sitara Team,

in an industrial communication system based that should serve Profinet RT, EthernetIP and EtherCAT by doing autodetect, all three of these protocols would need to be saved in the flash memory.

Do you have an estimate on how much flash memory would be required for these three protocols?

Also for running Profinet + additional applications like a webserver: what would be the required external SRAM needed?

Best regards
Manuel

2-2.5 MB flash will be required.

Default stack configuration requires 1.4 MB of RAM overall, however external SRAM is needed or not is dependent on the end application eventually.
