TMS570LC4357: Sine Wave - Dual Output Synchronous

Sine wave must be produced at voltage between -5v and +5v.

Configure at least two PWM channels to generate the sine waves.

I understand but this cant generate negative voltage. Only above the 0V. The signal range is -5V and +5V

I think, definitely we can't generate negative sine wave from controller.

I never tried before but after you are generating the sinewave using above app note then you should need to use a level shifter externally.
