There is a Pop up error of Debug Probe/ Ice Pick
We are facing the issue of POp up message and are not able to use TMDSEMU200-U
Pls confimr Is the issue due to Quality Problem ?
Aprove for the replacement
Hello Suman,
Can you provide the exact error you see? A screenshot would be helpful. Also provide the exact CCS version being used.
Thanks
ki
You are getting an type of host connection error. Basically the debugger is unable to communicate with the debug probe.
Based on the emulator pack version mentioned, it looks like you are using an old version of CCS. What exact version are you using?
Thanks
ki
Can you pls help in Eleaborating what CCS means?
Code Composer Studio:
https://www.ti.com/tool/CCSTUDIO
If you are not familiar with CCS, then I assume you are using a different tool with the debug probe. Are you using UniFlash?
We purchased two emulators together . One is working Fine but there is issue in the second one.
So on the same PC, using the same software, one XDS200 works but the other does not?
Can you try both XDS200 debug probes on the SAME PC and see if the results are the same where one works and one does not.
I will not be able to assist with returns. Please contact the vendor you purchased from.
Hello Suman,
As Ki stated, any RMA needs to be processed with the vendor you have purchased the probe from. This E2E thread can be used as confirmation of TI acknowledging the probe is non-functional and should be replaced. We will close this thread now as there is nothing further we can do for debug.
Best Regards,
Ralph Jacobi

Hello Suman,
I can't help with any RMA's directly, but you can submit the RMA with our customer support center and cite this E2E thread as proof for needing a replacement: https://ticsc.service-now.com/csm/
