MSPM0G1106: RTC calendar accuracy and power consumption

Hi All

I have a question about the RTC function of the MSPM0G1106TPMR.
I plan to use the MCU as an RTC module.
In this case, what would be the power consumption and calendar accuracy?

calendar accuracy depends on the clock source accuracy.

for example, if you use the External 32-kHz crystal oscillator (LFXT) (crystal) as the clock source, the accuracy will be mmp level which is related with crystal spec.

>> power consumption

it is depend on your application as well

it is related with LFXT current consumption, STANDBY Modes current and run mode current

I am considering the external 32kHz crystal oscillator (LFXT) as the clock source.
In this case, does the clock accuracy of the LFXT = calendar accuracy?
Are there any other factors that affect the clock accuracy?

Yes.

clock accuracy of the LFXT = calendar accuracy in case of using the external crystal as the clock source of RTC

If you need higher accuracy than the crystal, you can refer to 26.3.8 Calibration of TRM MSPM0 G-Series 80-MHz Microcontrollers Technical Reference Manual (Rev. A)
