Stellarisware for LM4F.

When Stellarisware for the LM4F devices will be avaliable?

  • We have 2 new such devices - find the most current StellarisWare works for those functions/capabilities which are not  unique to Cortex 4.  Our testing is nowhere near complete - have verified GPIO, Timers, PWM (+ extended Fault), Uart, clock set so far.

Like you we'd welcome newer/better - however we are running 2 demo boards using existing StellarisWare.  (Likely that we are not fully exploiting the capabilities of these new devices - however, "good for gov't work" so far)...

  • The new EKI-LM4F232 kits are coming with Stellarisware and EWARM for LM4F devices?

  • Unsure exactly what you're asking - our 2 new Eval boards perform nicely (with those functions - listed above) using the most current version of StellarisWare available from the TI site.  We use paid version of IAR - have encountered no difficulties.

Do keep in mind that we have not yet tested any of the new, enhanced features of the new devices...

  • Yes, this kit is available for order now from our estore (http://estore.ti.com) and other suppliers.

Our usual set of tool chains is available with the exception of Code Red which should be available soon.

Stellarisware support is on the CD in the kit.  Latest Stellarisware for M4 will be on the web very soon if not already.  Stellarisware will be one download package for both the LM3S and LM4F devices.
