MSPM0L1228: If project has right varient and core value, download fails

Hi MSPM0 Team,

if project has MSPM0L1228 varient and core value, and if I tried to download the code, it shows this error

CORTEX_M0P: GEL Output: Memory Map Initialization Complete
CORTEX_M0P: Error initializing flash programming: Invalid device ID
CORTEX_M0P: Loader: One or more sections of your program falls into a memory region that is not writable. These regions will not actually be written to the target. Check your linker configuration and/or memory map.

However, if i use another project that has MSPM0L2228 varient and core value, there's no error.

I downloaded code on MSPM0L1228SPN, so it should be filxed.

Hello Ted,

According to the error reported, you should pay attention to the Flash memory. You should check whether you write code into the memory region which is not writable. And why another project doesn't have error, maybe its code are all wrote into correct memory region. And because there is not much difference between L1228 and L2228, apart from LCD.

Could you try on your desk?

log is reporting about device_id mismatch.

get L1228 and try the same thing. I think you can reproduce this issue very easily.

I assume L1228 has L2228's device id and this can make error. please check.

I am sorry that I can't do it now because we don't have L1228 device in our office and I have applied for L1228 samples yesterday and they will be sent to Shanghai office in few days. When I get the samples, I can help you to do that.

And can you tell me 1). What is the IDE you used and what is the IDE version you used; 2). What is the SDK version you used now.
