I need to integrat the SafeTI Diagnostic library and TPS driver into my project for ESM and for PMIC control.

I have read the documents and the examples provided in the library.

Indeed, as said in the document, the sys_startup.c file from HALCoGen has been modified to make calls to the Diagnostic Library APIs which do the boot time tests.(the function _c_int00)

After a quick compare (i didn't compare all the assembly functions...), the HalCoGen functions which are replaced by the Diagnostic Library APIs seem to have the same functionalities.

Since both HalCoGen and Diagnostic Library can be certificated with the CSP support, is it really necessary to replace all HalCoGen functions by Diagnostic Library APIs?

If it is the case, could you please detail the difference between HalCoGen generated functions and the Diagnostic Library functions?

I ask this question because I have already a HalCoGen project with self tests activated in sys_startup.c.

And i am also adding that,

if you verify HALCoGen configuration for other controllers:

There is no SAFETY INIT tab like what we have in RM48 controllers:

So, for these other controllers it is not possible to generate the STC test and PBIST test and other tests related code in _c_int00 function. So, for these controllers it is mandatory to use diagnostic library code.

If i understand correctly, it is better to replace the HalCoGen generated self-test / registers initialization functions by the ones in Diagnostic library APIs in _c_int00 (even in my case, the HalCoGen can generate self-test for RM48). Can you confirm my understanding?
