We are using the controller MSP432 for one of our designs.
We completely copied the schematic of the launch pad MSP-EXP432E401Y.
In the schematic of the launchpad, the shield of the RJ45 connector and USB connector are connected to the main GND via a combination of a resistor and a capacitor.
We have an enclosure for our product, so usually these shield GND will be connected to the chassis GND of the enclosure and this chassis GND will be connected to the EARTH GND.
But since the chassis GND is connected to the main GND at two places (at RJ45 and at USB), it may create a ground loop as mentioned in the blog link.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Do you have any recommendations to connect the shielded GND with chassis GND
