TDA4VM：UDMA ERROR

Ring Queue can fail if the queue has become full, or ring handle is incorrect. can you please check for both of these error?

You need to count the number of elements that you are enqueueing to toe UDMA queue and make sure it never goes beyond allocated size. That's one check you can add in the code..

How to calculate the number of elements in the UDMA queue?
At present, the value of our APP_UDMA-RING-ENTRIES is set to 1

Then you can submit only one element to the ring. So please make sure to submit only one element to the ring, and only after that one finishes, please second submit next element.

Well, this is application specific configuration, so you can change it if you require to submit more than one request to the udma at any point of time.

Number of enqueues. If you submit more than 1 element to the queue, it will fail, because the first is not finished. You need to wait for the first one to finish and then can submit the next one.

Sorry, did not get your question, are you using VPAC drivers and seeing this error? This is failing on C6x_2 core, so are you running something on this core? Which example are you running?

The module currently analyzed is the YUYVTONV12 module, which runs on C66_2. The VPAC module runs on MCU2_0.

So the error is coming from UDMA running on C6x, so is this node YUVtoNV12 using any UDMA channels? Also for how many channels are you using this module? or are you running any other module on C6x?

ok, so according to above log, you have allocated just one ring element for UDMA transfer. There should not be multiple elements enqueued to the UDMA queues, under what condition are you seeing this issue? are you running some demo for this issue?
