My customer is developing EIP communication card using am243x + dp83822. They've finished the prototype and is doing power cycle test. They find the EIP fails to establish connection after about 150 power cycles, and one more power cycle would restore the connection. To find the root cause of connection failure, they need to run MII loopback to isolate the MII interface issues. However, the current MII example requires power cycle, which would break the failure condition.
How to modify the ICSS loopback example so that customer can run it without power cycle?
