MSPM0G3507: difference between driverlib and drivers in SDK

Hello,

I am looking at the two example projects about UART communication.

They are using different sets of APIs from SDK as in red box and green box respectively in below screenshot.

What is the main difference? Is there any one better than another one, or more suitable for any specific projects?
