RM48L952: SPI transmission timeout between two RM48L952 safety controllers

Are you talking about below SPIENA timeout flag?

or else did you add any external timeout in the code?

2. I think you are using RM48 as MibSPI master and What is the MibSPI slave in your testing?

3. Can i get your code for to reproduce the issue at my end?

I never see any issue before where the code stuck in the "mibspiIsTransferComplete", so please provide above details for further investigation of this issue.

No. Here "timeout" refers to the INTFLGRDY bit of the TGINTFLG register not being set to 1 timely after SPI transmission is completed, but greatly exceeding the expected value.

Normally, a SPI transmission takes about 0.1ms thru our careful measurement, but occasionally it can exceed 4ms, which can cause errors in our program.

Can you help analyze the possible causes of this problem?

So, is that means it not completely hanging in the mibspiIsTransferComplete function, right? It is taking more than usual time.

And how you are measuring this timeout value?

Yes. We measure the execution time of the while loop as below.

And i also need startTime, nowTime and elapseTime in two conditions, one is without error condition and other one is in error condition.

share something like as below in with error and without error codntions.
