LP-AM263P: All boot modes except DevBoot do not work.

Hello,

For a AM263Px LaunchPad, all other boot modes except for the DevBoot gets the following error when flashing the helloworld example code. When switching to DevBoot by adjusting the dip switch, the error goes away. How should I fix this error for the other boot modes?

The CCS version is 12.7.1, MCU+ SDK version 9.2.00.56, and on windows 10.

Hi Yuting,

It seems to me that you are trying to load the program directly into RAM using CCS - CCS load and run example instead of flashing the program in the memory and then running it - Flash a hello world example

Loading a program through CCS and running it is only supported in DevBoot mode.

I have been running it by clicking the "Flash" button in CCS, is this "load the program directly into RAM" or is this "flashing the program in the memory"?

This procedure works on another board of the same model in all boot modes but not for this one board for some reason.

Hi Yuting,

The flash button is used to load the program to RAM
the AppImage file is used with flash; The .out files is used with the debugger.
Please go through this documentation Flash a hello world example, CCS load and run example and the Getting Started section of the same SDK guide.
