MSPM0G3507: TIMER (TIMG0/TIMG6) accuracy

Part Number: MSPM0G3507

Tool/software:

Hi,

I'm testing TIMER (TIMG0) with ZeroEvent interrupt to print some data to UART (has DMA) and I'm seeing inconsistency in the timing (see samples below).  It seems the timer is getting faster(about 15ms) every few iterations.

Is there any setting for the TIMER that I can use to improve the accuracy?  I thought using these HW timers should be accurate. Thanks!
