AM2432: ICSSG1 EtherCAT Stack: Link/Activity LED

Part Number: AM2432

Tool/software:

Hello everyone,

I am currently searching for an answer if the EtherCAT Stack on the PRUs on ICSSG1 of the AM243x supports the Link/Activity LED as featured by some EtherCAT ASICS.

These Link/Activity LEDs behave like following:

(Example taken from Beckhoff product BK1120).

In case there is support then I assume some of the following pins will be used

Even if these pins are not used for the Link/Active Leds, can someone please explain for what the EDIO_DATA_IN_OUT28 etc. signals are used by the EtherCAT Firmware stack.

The EtherCAT Beckhoff example of the industrial SDK seems to only use RUN and ERROR led in the code running on the R5.

However on e.g. AM243x MCU+ SDK: EtherCAT Slave (ti.com) it is written that an Port0/1 activity led is supported (but on which pins?).

In general, I would be interrested in a more extensive specification what the current EtherCAT Firmware Stack on the ICSSG actually does. Can someone recommend a source to me?

In case any further information is needed, please ask.

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards,

Martin
