Hello,

I have a customer who noticed that it seems like the FLASHCTL_CMDTYPE_COMMAND_CLEARSTATUS command (0x00000005) isn't described in the TRM for the device:

I also see there's a comment here of "Clear status - Clear status bits in FW_SMSTAT only" is this a software only command that doesn't touch the registers? Or is this something that's on the flash controller that is not in the TRM?

Hello Munan,

According to my experience, our M0C has implemented the "Clear Status" function which is mentioned in the SDK. Maybe it has not been updated to the TRM. I will send email to ask our System and software team to double confirm it.

Hi Janz,

Any update here? Or can you loop me into the internal thread? Also, I have a customer on the MSPM0L1306 that's mentioning that this command is also not in the L series TRM and that looks to be the case as well. Can you make sure that we update the TRM across all the corresponding families that have this command?

I have got the response from software team. The COMMAND = 0x5h is valid and is being used in the code examples / DL. I will file a techdoc jira to get this fixed in TRM. Thanks for pointing out this issue of M0.
