Hello,

Is it possible to use the MSPM0 internal comparator outputs as the Quadrature Encoder Phase A and Phase B source for TIMG8 using the QEI mode?

I recognize that I could configure the comparator to output the result to a GPIO pin which could then be routed with a PCB trace to one of the TIMG8 capture GPIO's but I would rather route the signals internally if possible.

Is it possible to route the signals internally?

Hi Ben,

There is no internal routing that enables this, On SysConfig as you can probably see, there is not an option to directly use the Comp outputs as the TIMG8 capture compares inputs. So, I suggest using the PCB trace as you initially recognized.
