AM2432: Failed to compile project when adding more GPIO pins

With sysconfig 1.17, after I add another GPIO, when I try to change the pin it crashes (after about 20 minutes). When I use sysconfig 1.18 and try to change the pin, it says an error occurred and goes back to ANY pin (but doesn't crash).
It looks like the maximum GPIOs supported in sysconfig is 63.

I tried to use sysconfig 1.20, but it requires changing to SDK 9.02.01 (which I have other problems with in another E2E)

Hi, I am reaching out some colleagues who can help with SysConfig questions. 

One option you could try, as a workaround, and to help to rule out SysConfig max GPIO support, is to add manually the gpios you need, then copy all the autogenerate files from SysConfig to your work folder and exclude from build "example.syscfg".

That thread is from 12 months ago, we would like to know whether this issue has been addressed in the latest syscfg. If it has been addressed, which version has the fixes. 

We are using SDK 9.0.0.35 and SysConfig 1.17.0

You can try building any empty project provided as a part of MCU+SDK in the CCS IDE, just to confirm that you are not getting any build issues with the latest MCU+SDK?

We can build code, the problem is in the bootloader we are getting an assert during the DMA transfer while reading flash. Turning off DMA works, but the boot time won't meet our time to ready requirements.
