AM2431: Does EQEP0 Strobe Support Multiple External Input

Hi TI Experts,

Customer is evaluating our AM2431 EQEP. Seeing from the datasheet, EQEP0_S could be configured on the pin R19，V3，B16 shown below.

Customer is asking if we could configure all of the pin R19，V3，B16 to EQEP0 Strobe, and each pin connects to an independent external input?

The reason to do that is to allow each external input could independently store the position information of the encoder.

Could you help to check the feasibility please?

Thank you for the query.

You will be able to configure any one of the pin for the required functionality and not all the pins.

Please refer to pin attributes section of the data sheet.

Does that mean if I configure pin B16 to be EQEP0 Strobe, then pin R19 and V3 could not be configured to EQEP0 Strobe anymore?
