AM2432: Is ABZ Feedback Supported

Hi TI Experts,

Customer is working on AM243x SDK9.2.

They have already tested the ENDAT feedback according to our guide, and it works as expected.

Now they are evaluating the ABZ feedback, but we cannot find any description about it. Hence we have the below 2 questions and need your help.

1: Could customer directly use AM243x EVM board to evaluate ABZ feedback?

2: Could you provide some guide to evaluate the ABZ feedback on AM243x?

We do not have support for ABZ Feedback available in SDK. We will review and get back by Thursday.

Hello Kevin,

The customer can directly use two ABZ encoder with AM243x launchpad. The headers J12 and J21 are used to for this purpose.

I think the EQEP Capture in the AM243x MCU+ SDK 09.02.00 would be a good example to get started with the EQEP peripheral.

The example is available in SKD\examples\drivers\eqep\eqep_capture directory, and here is the link for the online documentation of the same,
