AM2431: SBL does not work when i commentout the loop_forever

Tool/software:

i am using sdk8.3.0

i am doing well with the sbl which have the func loop_forever

but when i commentout the loop_forever, the sbl become not working.

i have change a lot in sdk and using a custom threadx os.

can you give me some advice for this problem?

What do you mean by not working? Is it not booting at all or booting but gets stuck or fails somewhere?

I am assuming this is based on the fact that you do not see any UART logs? If so, there may be the case that the ROM booted the SBL successfully but it got stuck before it could start dumping the UART logs.

Can you connect to the R5FSS0-0 core using the debugger & see the address at which the core is suspended at?

If it's something 0x410xxxxx then the boot is in ROM stage.
If it's something 0x70xxxxxx then the ROM booted the SBL successfully.

Thanks for your reply.

I have fixed the problem.

The reason is when the boot is running ,but the flash is not ready.

so the boot failed to get the flash device id.
