We are using TMS570LS3137PGE in one of our projects. Since we first developed our software in the HDK kit, we developed according to the TMS570LS31377WT on the HDK. Then we moved our software to the TMS570LS3137PGE. We used the DMM module as a GIO in the TMS570LS31377WT, but when we moved the project, we realized that this unit was not available in the TMS570LS3137PGE microcontroller.

The datasheet also states that it does not exist.

Also in HALCOGEN, the DMM module for the TMS570LS3137PGE does not match the datasheet.

Can you help me to understand this issue better?

Hi Hasan,

Yes, the datasheet is correct and there is no DMM module in QFP package.

ZWT package have 337 pins and QFP package have only 144pins, so we cannot directly use the ZWT package on QFP package. We should need to make the changes in according to pin changes.

As there is no DMM module in QFP package, so remove the code related to DMM pins as GIO in your application. Instead of again verify which pins you want to operate as GIO for your application.

For example:

You need to operate pin-97 of the PGE package as GIO, then we can also make MIBSPI pins as GIO. So forget about DMM and make the MibSPI pin as GIO.
