RM57L843: ADC timing

I am trying to configure ADC for RM57 on HalCogen and have following questions.

1. What does tScan in Halcogen mean?

2. Is tExtended time the sum of tDischarge and tSample?

3. If I don't enable Sample capacitor discharge in Halcogen, does the ADC core not discharge the sample capacitor before switching to a new channel for conversion? If this is not the case, what is the default discharge time?
