Hello,

I am using the SAFETI-HALCOGEN-CSP (v04.07.01) and I am running the unit tests of the PMM on a TMDX570LC43HDK Hercules TMS570LC43x Development Kit.

However, the following unit tests hang:

PMM_UT_01:2

PMM_UT_01:3

PMM_UT_03:2

These unit tests appear to hang when pmmTurnOFFLogicPowerDomain() is called.

Do you know of any reason why these unit tests would hang?

I noticed a similar problem with the RM48L952: HalCoGen 4.07.00 - CSP

Is there any chance that there is a similar, but undocumented, problem with the TMS570LC4357?

Hi Andrew,

*RM48x Microcontroller (Rev. G) (ti.com)

According to errata the power domain-2 (PD-2), should not disabled, if it disabled and any warm reset occurs then core will be halted.

And if we verify above unit test cases, they involve the PD-2 disabling, that is the reason in below thread they are suggesting to not execute these test cases.

Thank you for your reply. However you have not addressed my question.

I am using a TMS570LC4357 and SAFETI-HALCOGEN-CSP (v04.07.01) and I am running the unit tests of the PMM on a TMDX570LC43HDK Hercules TMS570LC43x Development Kit.

I have found that the following unit tests hang:

I mentioned the RM48L952 because it appears to have a similar problem, when testing the PMM module, as I see with the TMS570LC4357 - as documented

So, does the TMS570LC4357 have the same problem as the RM48L952?

My sincere apologies for the delay in the response, i was got assigned with some other high priority work that is the reason didn't get chance to spend time on e2e threads much.

You are correct, this could be possible because these two devices are from same family of controllers i.e. Hercules. So, they have most of hardware IP's are common. So, this could be possible in TMS570LC4357 as well.
