Hello,

I'm using the LP-MSPM0G3507 and the purpose is to generate 2 complementary PWM with dead band insertion using comparator event (PWMs has to be automatically triggered by comparator event)

Can I simply use and configure comparator event using publisher channel ID and connect this event in the PWM driver through subscriber port channel ?

If not, is there an alternative solution ?

Hi Corentin,

Your assumption above is correct, you can configure the comparator to publish an event, and then have the timer subscribe to this event. This configuration can all be done inside of Sysconfig. More information is available for this in Section 25.2.9 Interrupt and Event Support in the device TRM.

As an alternative you could utilize a comparator interrupt ISR to start the timer if for some reason you opt against using the events system.
