The TMS570LC4357-SEP is part of our Space Enhanced Product (SEP) family of devices. These devices are targeted for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or shorter duration missions since they are rated to 30krad for TID and 43MeV for SEL. SEP devices are 100% electrical screened and include RLAT data. For this reason, the device will be appropriate for Level 2-4 with DPA being performed by the customer.
For QML-P devices, we require the device to pass higher levels of radiation which is not possible for the TMS570LC4357-SEP. The customer is welcome to create their own SCD, complete their own testing, and use the device for level 1, but TI makes no guarantees on the performance at higher radiation levels.
