We have a query related to ADC MCAL driver usage on AM2634-Q1.
I understand that TI provides ASIL-D ready MCAL for AM2634-Q1 microcontroller that we are using currently.
We have implemented motor control software components in Cdd and these require ADC samples at a fast rate in the order of few hundreds of nano seconds.
We observed that MCAL Adc driver APIs were not fast enough to meet these timing requirement.
So we ended up accessing the registers directly bypassing the ADC driver APIs. We believe we might compromise on ASIL-D of the s/w component when we are doing this.
The question is,
Do we have timing guide from TI for the intended MCAL ADC driver usage, so that we can still meet ASIL-D and yet achieve high timing performance ?
