LP-MSPM0L1306: Green LED became off at starting OOBE

Part Number: LP-MSPM0L1306
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSPM0L1306

Tool/software:

Hi expert,

I faced trouble at starting OOBE of LP-MSPM0L1306.

I connect the LP with my PC and PC detected the LP correctly. (I checked it on device manager)

I did "Load Program" from web GUI ver1.0.0. Then the green LED became off and the PC no longer recognized the LP

I found there is newer version 1.0.1 of web GUI and I tried above step with another LP.

It looks work properly.

this ver1.0.0's behavior is known trouble?

How can I repair the LP?

Thanks and regards,

Tsuyoshi

  • Hi Tsuyoshi,

It seems that you did not upload picture successfully.

About the problem, you mean after you use GUI v1.0.0, PC could not recognize LP anymore in device manager? Please give more details after PC could not recognize the LP.

  • Hi Xie,

    The picture is bellow

    Your understanding is right.

I use V1.0.0 because of LP's user manual showed that link.

    Thanks and regards,

  • Hi Tsuyoshi,

I try working with LP_MSPM0L1306_OOBE ver_1.0.0, it seems working well. It's so strange that PC could not detect the LP device. Try to check things below:

    1. Is the LP's supply voltage normal? Try measuring the voltage.

    2. As you load the program before, is the led1(PA0) blinking? Does the state of LED2(PA13) change as you press the switch of S2? Pay attention the hardware connection below:

    3. If it launchpad still not work, try to use another XDS110 debugger to download program to this MSPM0L1306 chip. To check if there is something wrong with XDS110.

As PC could not detect the device at all, there may be not valid way to fix this problem by such as restoring factory settings.
