TM4C1232H6PM: Trace Debugging with XDS200

I see the same issue with 12.8.0. I tried using 12.7.1 and ran into other stability issues. I then tried an older 11.2.0 and the connection issue did not occur. It looks like a bug.

Please note that CCS Eclipse based IDE and also the TVT/SWO based trace has been deprecated in support. We have a new trace solution in our new Theia based IDE. However, it does not support SWO trace as of yet.

Thanks for your reply and for check the functionality on other versions. Unfortunately I dont see the TM4C1232H6PM in the list of supported devices of Theia (https://www.ti.com/tool/CCSTUDIO). Do you think it could still work in the future?

What other possibilities are there to analyze crash and timing issues with the TM4C1232H6PM?

We will add Tiva support in the future. Possibly in CCSv20 (the next release). I'm not sure what the SWO trace roadmap is however. I will need to check.

Unfortunately what we offer from a tools perspective is limited. You can use some of the basic debugger features to monitor for stack overflow and such but otherwise you may be limited to more collecting such information with the application itself.
