MSPM0L2228: IIDX Register seems not changed

Part Number: MSPM0L2228

Tool/software:

Hi team,

My customer is using MSPM0L2228. They did one test as below and find out the IIDX Register seems not changed. Please help clarify if this scenario is normal. Thank you.

Test environment:

  • HW : LP-MSPM0L2228
  • SDK version: mspm0_sdk_2_02_00_05
  • CCS Theia version: 1.5.0.11
  • SW Example: i2c_target_rw_multibyte_fifo_interrupts_LP_MSPM0L2228_nortos_ticlang

Test result:

The DL_I2C_IIDX_TARGET_STOP state is always triggered in the code, and the LED on the board is blinking,

They find some registers (eg. SSR) keep changing. But the corresponding IIDX Register (Offset = 1020h) doesn't change (keep '0'). Is this reasonable ? Customer worry if CCS register window is trustable ?
