ARGO-TMX570LS3137 development board source code

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS570LS20216

Hello,

I bought an ARGO-TMX570LS3137 development board to begin porting code we wrote for a TMS570LS20216 to the LS3.

The first time I flashed my software over the original software int the development board it worked ok, but when I turned the board OFF and ON again, it's not working. Apparently a big part of the RAM seams to be protected and when my software accesses it a DATA an exception is generated. I believe there is a configuration that was present in the original board software that I don't have in mine.

Is it possible to get the development board software source code?

Thanks

  • Martin,

The demo s/w source code is provided as part of the whole Hercules s/w installation. I used the default folders for installation and that put the files here:

    C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\Hercules\Hercules Safety MCU Demos\TMS570LS3 Hercules Demo\src

Also, for good measure, try hitting power on reset (PORRST) once the board is powered up and see if it helps.

    Regards,

  • Abhishek,

Thanks for the answer.  I did not want to install the Hercules software package (CCSV4) because I was affraid it would mess up my installation of CCSV5. But I will try it to get the source code.

I also have another question, the line "If a post answers your question, please mark it with the "verify answer" button." was added to your post. Can you tell me where this button is? I cannot find it.

    Regards,

    Martin

  • Martin,

you could try installing only the Safety Demos and that may get you the code you are looking for.

The Verify Answer button is at the bottom of each post when you are reading a post (not once you have hit reply). See the image below.
