Kindly support in providing reference design of eMMC integration with AM2634.

Is it possible to use both SD card and eMMC with MMC0 pins...?

Hi Divya,

The MMC on AM263x support both SD card and MMC card.

Will this eMMC support SDINBDA6-128G-ZA1 (eMMC 5.1 HS400) can be interfaced with AM2634.

Could you please suggest any eMMC identified for AM2634-Q1 chip.

Hi Divya,

The MMC on AM263 supports MMC4.3 specification. I haven't studied the difference between MMC5.1 and MMC4.3. I think that the MMC5.1 is not fully supported.

Will this eMMC (SDINBDA6-128G-ZA1) support (eMMC 5.1 HS400) can be interfaced with AM2634 .As AM2634 supports MMC4.3 specification.

We are not able to find eMMC 4.3 standard.

Could you please suggest any eMMC identified for AM2634-Q1 chip.

Hi Divya,

The MMCSD host controller is designed to be compliant with the standard (4.3) as described in the datasheet and TRM. The eMMC 5.1 storage device are not fully supported.

I am sorry I don't have a list of supported MMCSD cards. All the MMC 4.3 storage devices should be supported without any issue.
