AM2634: AM263x-CC Uniflash

Part Number: AM2634
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Tool/software:

Dear TI Team,

is there any possibility to erase specific memory ranges within the QSPI flash of our AM263x-CC device using the Uniflash software?

While the Uniflash documentation (https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/uniflash/docs/v6_0/uniflash_quick_start_guide.html) suggests that selective erase functionality should be available, we're unable to find this option within the GUI interface for the AM263x-CC target.

Furthermore, our attempts to erase specific ranges via the command line have been unsuccessful. We found out that there is a "FlashErase" option, but it appears to perform a full chip erase, which is both time-consuming and unsuitable for our particular use case.

Is there a documented method or CLI command within Uniflash that allows us to selectively erase specific memory ranges in the QSPI flash of the AM263x-CC device via JTAG?

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

Dominic
