EK-TM4C1294XL: NFC support code for DLP-7970ABP(TRF7970A) integrated with TM4C1294XL

Hi,

  We use to have NFC sample code for EK-TM4C1294XL in an older version of TivaWare. However, we intentionally removed it in the latest version as we can no longer support it. You can either port the code from MSP430 to Tiva or download the older version TivaWare 2.1.4.178 from https://www.ti.com/tool/download/SW-TM4C/2.1.4.178.

I ported the code for Tiva (TM4C1294XL), but it is not working, and in the older version, there is no r/w combination for the trf and tm4c. Can you please help me r/w the trf7970a with tm4c1294xl?

I don't understand what you are saying about r/w combination. Why don't you show the line of code where you reference in MSP430 and your ported code for TM4C.

From the given sample code (www.ti.com/.../2.1.4.178) link, it contains only P2P mode there is no read write mode and if we tried to port the code from the another sample SLOC297, it is too difficult for us. That's why I asked to you for the help. Is there any ported code or any important functions to the trf7970a NFC read/write with tm4c1294xl? Could you please help us. Porting the code is very difficult for us to execute in the short time of our testing.

  I didn't know that the old TivaWare only contained P2P mode and not R/W mode. Your best option is to port SLOC297 from MSP430 to Tiva. Sorry, I should not have given you the old TivaWare example that creates confusion to you. As I stated a disclaimer in the very giving that we intentionally removed any reference to NFC example on the latest TivaWare version because the example can be incomplete and we cannot support it.

I am already started porting the SLOC297 to tiva, but I don't know how it will work because it is too difficult for us to porting the msp to tiva. Can you suggest any easy way or required important functions alone to simplest porting. Please send is there any old tiva examples you have and its useful for us.

  Please refer to section 4.2 in the TRF7970A device FAQ guide: www.ti.com/.../sloa246.pdf.  There is some example that is TI-RTOS based which supports NFC for TivaWare. Maybe you can look at the mentioned example and reference the NFC portion of code for Tiva.

  Unfortunately, as I have searched extensively, I do not find any additional RFID examples for TM4C129 other than what I already pointed you. Again, your best option is to reference the examples developed for MSP430 and port them to TM4C.
