In the AM2634 evaluation board, NOR flash IC used is S25FL128SAGNFI000 , Can we use similar specification flash IC for boot mode or is this AM2634 chip specific Flash IC

Can somebody support on this.

Yes it is possible to use similar flash ICs for your use case also.
