What is the maximum application image file size for each core in Am2634? If my application image is 1MB for each core (Total 4MB stored in external flash), then how my application image RPRC files has been loaded into OCRAM and how the parsing of multicore file will complete using QSPI boot mode?

Hi TEMC,

On AM2634 devices the size of internal OCMC RAM is 2MB, which is divided into 4 banks. So max application size that you can have for each core is 512KB only.

This limitation is present because AM263x devices do not support XIP which is supported in all later AM26x family of devices.

For Ex if XIP is supported then you could keep all your code and rodata in flash and execute from there. And place only time critical code in RAM.

This will not be possible, You will face issue in build time(linker error) because there is not sufficient RAM present in AM263x to accommodate 4MB application size.
