TMDSEMU110-U: Pin information of UART (Communication)

Hello,

You can connect the SCI_TX pin of the C2000 to the XDS RX pin and the SCI_RX pin of the C2000 to the XDS TX pin. Which C2000 microcontroller are you using specifically? I can show you how to find the correct GPIOs to use.

The connector pinout you included in your original question is actually a nonstandard pinout that we include on our LaunchPads as a way to easily disconnect and monitor the various JTAG and SCI pins which are connected to the USB port. It is not designed to conform to any standard pinouts. Please refer to the following page on information about our standard pinout designs. FYI if you are trying to conform to the TMDSEMU110-U, you should refer to the female connectors which are located on the TMDSHSECDOCK board as that actually conforms to the XDS standard.

The pinout is device agnostic so it would support all C2000 devices. You can refer to the pinout in the XDS110 User Guide located in section 2.3.1
