regarding the availability of TI mcu's in arm functional safety tool

Part Number: TMS320F2800157-Q1

Tool/software:

We are using the following 3 TI MCU's for one of our safety critical projects - 

1. TMS320F2800157QPNRQ1
2. TMS320F280039SPZ

3. AM2634COMFHAZCZR

 

The project in which this TI MCU's will be used has to undergo SIL certification.

For this we are planning to use  IAR ARM FUNCTIONAL SAFETY V9.50 Embedded Workbench.

We have contacted IAR System, India for this and we have come to know that the above 3 TI MCU's are not officially supported by IAR Arm Tool.

So we have 2 questions, regarding this.

Question 1

We want to know weather Texas Instruments, India can help us out with this issue. Will Texas Instruments, India be able to provide support for the following above 3 TI MCU's "Software support (patch)" to work with IAR ARM FUNCTIONAL SAFETY V9.50 Embedded Workbench.

 

Question 2

----------------

Apart from IAR which other Functional Safety Tool can be used with this 3 TI MCU's to obtain SIL Certification.

    Hi Vivek, 

    For AM2634COMFHAZCZR, we do not support IAR tools. TI supports CLANG compiler along with the compiler qualification kit which can be used during functional safety assessment.

    For the other 2 devices, I will check internally and provide feedback.
