AM263P4: FSI EPWM Sync Example

Regarding the following note: Using the Fast Serial Interface (FSI) With Multiple Devices in an Application

The nodes are devices containing CLBs where the reception of a ping frame can trigger ePWM synchronisation.

Is there an equivalent "silicon only" mechanism that exists for nodes that are based on AM263P4 please where there is no CLB?

In the module integration diagram there's the impression that the FSI RX module can somehow influence the ePWM sync:

But in the FSI chapters I can't see that relationship explained further.
