LP-MSPM0G3507: Watchdog clock configuration

Hi all,

I'm going to set the clock of watchdog of LP-MSPM0G3507 as main clock (32 Mhz for example) and not use the LFCLK which is 32768 Hz because I dont want to use standby or low power mode of the board. How can I do it because with TI Sys-config tool I'm not able to do it. thanks

Hi Milad,

The watchdog timer can only utilize the LFCLK as its clock source. So this cannot be reconfigured.

Hi Dylan, thanks for clarification. but when I use LFCLK the board goes to satndby mode. how can I disable it ? I dont want to use standbye or low power mode . thank you

What do you mean when you say you "use" LFCLK? Switching some peripherals to use LFCLK should not cause the board to go into standby mode and you should be able to use LFCLK as a clock source in your application without suddenly entering a low power mode.
