MSPM0G1105とST7066Uを内蔵した液晶を接続しようと考えています。

最小限の構成で接続する方法について何かアイデアがあれば、私に知らせてください。

Hi,

I am checking on the datasheet of the ST7066U. It looks like you only need to connect pins in the red block between a MCU and ST7066U. And you can use any MCU's GPIO pin for the connection. No special needs in those ports.

Is GPIO the minimum configuration?

I'm currently considering 4-bit mode, where only the upper 4 bits of DB7-DB4 are connected.

That is fine. GPIO can meet the connection requirement for 4 bits mode.
