MSPM0G3105-Q1: MSPM0 G-Series firmware security

Part Number: MSPM0G3105-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello,

We are in the process of researching the MSPM0 G-Series. Looks very promising from a theoretical high level.

We are looking for a  high level description of the security MSPM0 G-Series to prevent firmware cloning in general and specifically what are the options to prevent read back of the firmware.

Read and READVERIFY.

While I mentioned read back, I don't mean only reading, rather any security options to prevent cloning.

Thanks

  • Hi,

For security feature on M0G3105 device, there are password option on both SWD and BSL interface. Customer can set password to avoid unexpected connection to the MCU to avoid data being read out through these communication interface. You can find more details in the device TRM at chapter 1.4.2.1 Serial Wire Debug Related Policies and 1.4.3.2.1 BSL Access Password.

    Best regards,

    Cash Hao
