Hello,

I previously worked on the TM4C123GH6PM launchpad and I have a simple question about the MSPM0G3507 launchpad which I received a few days ago. I saw that there is no FPU implemented on it, so I would like to ask if it is possible to accelerate floating point-related calculations, such as the discrete Fourier transformation for audio signal? If it is possible, how concretely should I do it?

Check out Chapter 5 of the TRM, There is a MATHACL ("Math Accelerator") that works with fixed point.

There are a number of MathACL and IQ math examples

A better example in the "MSP Subsystems" folder would be the fir_low_pass_filter example

According to this: The ACL might not buy you much, and there is a CMSIS example:

Since the example uses fixed point, the interested student can try it with the MathACL.
