MSPM0C1103: User Programmable InfoFlash or NonMain.. In Addition to Main Flash..

Part Number: MSPM0C1103

Tool/software:

Hi Team MSPM0C,

In addition to the (8KB/16KB) of main flash in the device.. does the MSPM0C1103 include any add'l user/customer programmable "Info" Flash?  Like MSP430 InfoFlash style.. or can any part of NonMain be used this way.. to store a few bytes of data?  Looking for a good way to "electronically" identify a programmed MSPM0.. by reading a register or some section of Flash (ideally not in Main Flash).

Thanks, Merril

  • Hello Merril,

Firstly, confirm your chip is the release version, not the test version. Then you can try to read the data in FACTORYREGION registers (TRACEID, DEVICEID and USERID). If it can meet your requirement of "electronically identify", I think you need use a region of Main Flash to implement your requirement.

    Best Regards,
