AM263P4: CAN FD BUS Off interrupt flag missmatch

Hi,

With my AM263p4 processor I was trying to create the BUS Off error for MCAN module.

When I shot both Tx & RX lines of MCAN I was expecting Bus OFF error but instead I was getting Protocol Error in Arbitration Phase interrupt (MCAN_INTR_SRC_PROTOCOL_ERR_ARB)

when I connected both TX & RX in PCAN Device I was Getting Bus off error.

    Hello Vamsi,

    This is an interesting outcome. I would have expected the Bus-Off error as well from shorting TX and RX.

    Can you provide the exact list of steps performed with both the AM263Px and the PCAN Device for this test?

    While reviewing the Arbitration Protocol Error that is being flagged, I found the following site with some good information.

    Can you try the suggestion here and change the priority bits of your CAN message and see if the error persists?
