Hi,

We are targeting the TMS570LC43 as the MCU of our project, and have the following questions:

We currently have the LaunchPad TMS570LC43 and the TI XDS110 Jtag debugger. Can any real-time MCU executed instructions tracing be done with our setup?
Does TMS570LC43 support tracing at all, if a proper debugger is acquired? We read section 2.4.5 of the TRM "Embedded Trace Macrocell (ETM-R5)", and would like to have elaboration on what equipment will be needed to record the dump the trace.

Yes, you are correct it needs proper debugger (XDS560).

Thank you, Jagadish, what you described above matches the information that I have gathered so far, regarding ETM on TMS570LC43 platforms. We will have to see whether to move forward with it.
